Some residents of Clarendale Six Corners recently appeared in a Good News Guarantee story on FOX32 Chicago. The story highlighted the remarkable Lifting Hearts with the Arts, founded by Maya Joshi, a Lane Tech High School student.

Inspired by media accounts of the isolation many seniors felt during the COVID shutdowns and his own Facetime interactions with his grandparents, Maya created his Lifting Hearts with the Arts organization.

This organization connected teens with seniors virtually and in person through joint art projects. A dozen residents of Clarendale Six Corners are already participating in the program and are enjoying the opportunity to interact with younger generations.
